Few years back I did find this list on Internet and I always thought it was a good starting point for when you need to pack your things for a trip. Lately I found even easier to use my Mobile and an application called Listing It!
It allows making tick box lists of anything you want, so it can be used for a multitude of possibilities. I like using this application because it let me select the packing list based on the kind of trip.
One single list it is easy to handle but what about if you go camping, or stay in a motel? This is where having separate lists do come handy. Also, you will have different gear for a weekend trip, compare to a 7-10 days trip.
This is the basic list you can build upon and make your own:
What to pack when travelling? An old adage suggest bringing half as much clothing and twice as much money. This is the list of the maximum amount of stuff one should ever need to cart around (and all of it – except for what you’ll be wearing – will fit into a single carry on sized bag).
Eliminates items whenever possible . Minimise clothing by selecting a uniform (one or two) colours scheme. Choose fabrics carefully: natural fabrics wrinkle more easily and dry more slowly than modern synthetics. Learn to “bundle wrap”, to avoid wrinkles and save space. And remember that there are two kinds of luggage: carry-on and lost…

Hi Alisha
This theme is called Avada and it can be 100% customised to your needs. In saying that, I think these days there are better themes out there in particularly just for blogging. To answer your question, Yes I have customised and it is still a work in progress as I constantly change things to improve readability and SEO ratings..
