While both radiator and Header Tank where getting fixed and repainted, I notice a crack and a hole in the radiator shroud. It was also very dirty and been painted several times in different colours. So I wanted to fix the hole, the crack and painted black to match the rest of the cooling system.
After purchasing a fibreglass kit from Bunning I had a go at fixing the shroud.
After four layer of fibreglass it finally reached the same thickness as the rest.
It doesn’t look good but I had some spare resin and I didn’t feel to throw it away. After the sanding and the painting it should be right.
I’m happy now the hole and the crack are gone and it definitely looks better in black than dusty grey.
Radiator and shroud back in the original location. Now is time to concentrate on the intercooling system.
