Phil was kind enough to send me some pictures of his latest “renovation” on his motorhome…
One of the advantages with the hi-deck, is obviously the size of the bins… they are massive…
Not original but welcome anyway. The CAT C-12 engine producing 530HP
Not even 24 hours after the coach got home, the stripping began at an alarming (for me) pace. It took Phil less than a week to completely empty the coach… 😯
And that was it. Now Phil can start to plan his interior…
Not so fast… There is a toilet here downstairs that need a bit of cleaning… ;) I for once, were happy not to having to remove one of these from my coach… But Phil did very quickly (and smartly, if you ask me) relegate the job to one of his workers that apparently that day was not doing that well…
Not happy, mate!!!
Next huge job was to remove the Air conditioning system from the rear of the coach…
Still working on it at night
The complete unit is out!
This will give Phil the room to install a proper A/C plus possibly a parking slot for a small car..? 😁
Nice and clean. And let’s not forget the 3-400Kg of weight that has been remove
Thanks, Phil for sending the pictures and looking forward to seeing the next instalment…
I’ll upload new material as it becomes available..
UPDATES July 2019
I have no idea of what happened to Phil. I haven’t received any news for more than a year now, and frankly I’m not even sure he still has or that he’s still working on the conversion.
I hope one day to meet Phil on the road in his finished conversion.
