While I’m trying to organise the inspection for Gigi to become road legal, it seems that I still have few hurdle to jump before the finish line..

I’m checking everything twice so to avoid having to fail the inspection and it is just not happening!!! The engine battery have died on me, or at least one of them, as under load it shows 7 volts. They are both 6 years old, so I went for two new Century batteries (Thanks Alex & Matt). I was always going to add another little solar panel and controller for these batteries, but I didn’t expect them to die right now in the middle of the first move. This also gave me an idea for another blog about solar installation kit. There are hundreds of them on the web, but I still have to see or read one that actually make you feel more comfortable than worried about  the whole installation.

As I was checking my panels, I found one that did not glue down properly, so after an email to the company that did provided me with the instruction on how to install them, I decide to contact directly Sika and ask them for the best approach. More to follow..

I also got a pleasant surprise from my laptop, that apparently does not need a cable to input the display to the big screen as they both communicate via Wi-Fi. There seem to be a half a second lag between the two screens, but you only notice that if watching a movie or playing a game, and you also must have both screen on. If you only use the TV screen, you would never know about the lag. I’m guessing the more data gets transfer, the worse it could get, but for everyday computing tasks, it is just fine.. You can also see a delicious pizza in the foreground. It took me few tries but I think I got it right now.. Bongo and Baldrick did seem to enjoy it.. What do you guys reckon?

Gigi finally got all new shoes and I decide to stick to the popular Yokohama 107 ZL. I always like them, especially on wet, and they do last long time.. Between jobs, I wanted to install the Malossi kit that I did purchase for la Vespa. The installation went smooth but imagine my surprise when after having open the engine all I can see is the word “china” printed everywhere… It seems Vespa have not longer anything to do with Italy. I also got a new front rack, and managed to install and use the Triumph top case for the back, so that it can be use for Interstate travelling.. 😁

While doing the finishing touches I also managed to completely replace the yellow plastic with the aluminium profile on the last three step. Now they look all the same and it makes the floor 100% completed.

I also got a new little pet in the container.. She didn’t mind posing for the picture while her babies were running everywhere and I still don’t know what has happened to the Red bellied snake.. It is getting crowded here… 😂

Just for Baldrick.. This is a video of  a Vespa one cylinder 150cc with few small (and cheap modifications).. Just imagine what a 300cc could do… 😎

Apparently they can sit comfortably at 210 KMH 😮
