I was just minding my own business, when the email notification bell rang…

I just got another email (as I get about 3-5 per week) from Caravan RV Camping.. These emails do go directly into my spam folder but because sometime even good real email end up by mistake in the same folder I normally have a quick look before permanently delete them…

Now we all know by now that those email are not worth the voltage required to go across the Internet.. They are a huge waste of time, space, energy, …..

And now, I will let the pictures do the talking.. As I’m about to click delete I see this:

 

That take an extra $100 Off HERE does the trick, and so I click HERE and it takes me to their website, where I do expect to be shown how to save the extra $100..

 

 

Nothing! Not a blip in the entire page on how to save those $100. Now I’m pissed off!!! Why the need to add an extra lie to all the other big lies that are already there…

So I click on one of those “Great SPECIAL Deals”. Yeah, lets have a look..

 

Wow… That’s lot more than $100 off and if I click Add to cart now I get an extra $20 off… That mean that I can buy this bundle for as little as $659.

That does sound too good to be true…

Lets now just check my normal supplier of Victron products. And remember, he doesn’t have any special price, ever!

First the Victron 30Amp Isolated (the non Isolated is a bit cheaper)

So it does retail everyday for $369.. Sometime Ebay will also give you an extra discount on top as it did happened to me back in February..

And now the Victron BMV-712 from the same vendor on Ebay…

So what we have here is $369 + $271.71 for a combined total of $640.71..

Caravan RV Camping at $659, is therefore a Lying PIG! And it is not just for this Victron deal. I also check other items like outdoor steps, fridges, generators, doors, windows, the lot..

I have now unsubscribe and put their website and email in the blocked list… for ever….

Before I go, just remember that the Ebay vendor Solar 4 RVs is one of the best retailer for Victron products with a constant rating of 100% in customer satisfaction, and he didn’t get there by been a pig towards his customers! He only deals with one brand, but it does carry the entire range in stock all the times and it is a pleasure to deal with…

I have no business association with Solar 4 RVs and unless someone tell them about this blog, probably he will never know about me either…
