I got so excited to be able to buying from what I believed it to be an Australian company or at least an Australian seller..

But no! This time they got me. The only Australian thing in this entire transaction, is the logo of Australia in the picture above..

I was looking for new cabinet lockers to replace those ugly plastic baby safety locker that I had to purchase in a rush when in Toowoomba few weeks back.  After an hour of searching I finally find this seller:

He goes under the name of Ozautozone, and he also displays the map/flag of Australia in both his product and in his profile. I honestly though that this was a legitimate Australian business locate in Australia that does pay taxes in Australia..

But if you look carefully, you can see that he also advertise “local stock delivery” and I think that’s the only explanation of the Australian map/logo..

The name has the Oz in it and again it is very clever because It made me think about an Aussie business..

The sad part about all this is that when I finally received the Paypal confirmation of the payment to Ozautozone, somehow, miraculously lost all the English charm and it became 广州市太古丰电子科技有限公司.

What the hell is that?? What has happened to my mate Ozautozone??? That is the real name of the company/vendor/scum/piece of shit, that got my money because of those two little deceiving details..

So the money now is on its way to Guangzhou Taikoofeng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.  and Australia will not either benefit or see a cent of it.. Once again Ebay has no problem with this kind of behaviour, but to me actually it does. I now wonder how many other individual are pretending to be Australian company in Australia while residing overseas? It is painfully obvious to me, that is not the Virus that escaped from China the problem.. It is their citizens attitude towards HONESTY that just stink!!!

As usual, buyer beware and definitely forget about honesty and trust!!!

Update:

Oh great.. I just got an email from Guangzhou, sorry I meant Ozautozone, to let me know that there will be some delay in the delivery.. I guess they are not really located in Regents Park NSW either, those bastard!!!

Karma my friend. I just hope for some Karma!

Update 2:

Yesterday (Australia Public Holiday) I received another email, with a tracking number confirming that those items have been sent.. Today Australia post confirmed that the tracking number provided hasn’t been scanned and it is therefore not in their system. Yet this vendor claimed yesterday that the items have already been sent.. I just sent an email asking for some clarification regarding the failed tracking number and this is what I got back:

Hi there

ozautozone is out of the office until 10/08/2020 and may not be able to respond to your message.
Message from ozautozone:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I will be out of office for this weekend.
With very limited access to email, I cannot check or reply your email in time.
If you have urgent matter to discuss with me, please leave a message to me, I will get back to you as soon as possible.Thank you for your understanding and have a nice weekend!Sincerely

Hmm… Interesting..  Is that the 1oth of August or the 8th of October??  BTW today is Tuesday the 6th… And who sent the packages, if there is no one in the office???

The plot is thickening..   Should I be worried?? 😂

Update 3:

While I keep receiving emails from ozautozone in which he keeps telling me not to worry and that he will look after me, today I received a parcel from him..
Unfortunately there was only half of what I ordered and one of the locker is an entirely different size from all the other…
I sent him another email but again I got the same email quoted above.. So far 40% of my order made it…

Today I received the other half of my order… but.. unfortunately.. They sent me the wrong ones.. I’m tired now and it shouldn’t be like this doing purchases online.. Let’s see what ozautozone next move will it be..
