This has got be by far the best scam of the month if not ever…

So simple, yet so effective.. It made my day because of its cunning way it present itself…

So today around lunch time I got this message on my phone..

At first I was quite impress to finally see two things happening…

Firstly, my mum had finally mastered the English language, and secondly she finally decide to move her bum instead of paying someone doing the shopping for her…

Wishful thinking…

Now obviously lots of people will have “mum” on their phone and that’s the clever bit as far as my concern… Interesting enough the scammer has managed to hide the number where the message originate from, but stupidly enough it has his BSB and account number, so considering the 100 points required to open an account, it won’t be very hard to trace back to the scammer… The picture of the bank is the actual 733 161 Westpac branch in Victoria, (132 032) in case you want to give them a call… I’m sure that Westpac has no relation with this idiot, and they will probably close this account by this afternoon, but you never know, he may get few people going for it, because of the word mum…

Just remember that if you voluntarily give away money, it will be hard to get it back..

I’ll give him 8 out of 10 for using the word mum in a scam…
